A King's Confession

"What do you want from me?"
I've got nothing left.
They'll say, "that's too much power."
But they empower me this way.
They'll say there are no kings...or God.
I'm not convinced.
They'll hate me
For a time perhaps.
They'll say there's no honor anymore
Maybe because they don’t have any.
If they do not speak,
Let them listen.
What other choice do I have?
It is the righteous way.
